Welcome to Portobello Cub Scouts! At Portobello Cubs, we’re all about adventure, fun, and friendship. Our Cub Pack is open to young people aged 8 to 10½ who are ready to explore the world around them, try new things, and develop important life skills - all while having a fantastic time. We run an exciting and varied programme that includes outdoor activities like camping and hiking, creative projects, science experiments, team games, and opportunities to earn badges that celebrate personal growth and achievement. Whether we’re learning how to light a fire, building a bug hotel, or working towards our next challenge award, there’s always something new to discover. Our dedicated team of leaders and volunteers are passionate about creating a supportive and inspiring environment where every Cub can thrive.

Hello! I'm Charlotte and I've been part of Portobello Scouts for the past four years. As a Cub Leader, I’m passionate about inspiring curiosity, confidence, and teamwork in every young person I work with. By day, I’m the manager of Colliderfest - a science and creativity festival - which means I bring a love of all things science, crafts, and hands on learning straight into our Cub meetings. Whether we're pitching tents on camp, launching rockets, or getting stuck into messy craft projects, I’m always looking for fun, imaginative ways to help Cubs learn and grow.
