Cubs End of Year (Christmas) Party

On Wednesday 15th December Portobello Cubs had their end of year (Christmas) party. First off, we invested a cub, the last of a Beavers moving up. The evening started with playing a musical chairs, the best game of the night was Santa relay. One Cub from each team was chosen as Santa, the rest of the team, one at a time, took an item of Santa’s clothing, and helped to dress Santa. Once Santa had all his clothes on and his sack of presents, he had to run to his teammates and back again, then his team had to help him undress, one at a time, taking back all his items. Leaving his parcel of presents behind. The parcels where actually Balloons, the balloons we placed on a chair, each team member had to sit on the balloon to burst it, the first team that burst all the balloons won the Santa relay. The final game was festive bingo which again the cubs enjoyed. The evening ended with the last closing ceremony of the year, then the Cubs all went to the front of the building and finish off the evening singing carols and Christmas songs to the parents waiting to collect them. So, the Cubs went on their way with Merry Christmases ringing in our ears.
